Colour: Gris (Grey)

Variety: Pineau d'Aunis

Terroir: Soil composed of flint clay and calcareous parent rock (tufa)

Vinification: direct pressing, no maceration.

The must is allowed to settle twice, then the alcoholic fermentation begins, aided by indigenous yeasts (from the terroir). After fermentation, the wine is removed and then matured in vats for several months.

The wine is bottled in June.

Storage: Two years

Yield: 50hl/ha

Tasting: This dry, pale rosé wine, which we call 'gris', has notes of white pepper and spices.

Accompanies: charcuterie, mixed salads, grilled fish, seafood, mussels in cream sauces.

"We have been winemakers for several generations, and my sister and I represent the seventh generation. In 1975, my grandfather developed the wine-making part of the business and began the restructuring of the estate. He also launched direct sales in bottles, which did not exist at the time, including the purchase of a cafe restaurant. He also developed sales at trade shows, where we go to meet with consumers."
